Xavier Badiella nació en Terrassa en el año 1960, no se introduce en el mundo del baile hasta el 2002, de la mano de su esposa Montserrat Balasch. Durante más de un año, baila con sus amigos en el Sport Center ( Terrassa/Sabadell) , donde empieza a escribir su propio archivo de coreografías, con lo que se da cuenta de lo importante de tener una buena preparación para aprender mejor cualquier aspecto del baile, esa inquietud mueve a la familia Badiella/Balasch a buscar donde poder formarse mejor.

Es en el Sport Center donde Chatti empieza a escribir sus primeras coreografías, el “Pingeon Cowboy” y el “On The Mountains”, escrito especialmente para un Show Navideño del 2003.

En el 2004 empiezan con varios amigos, un cursillo en Terrassa con Eva Floriach, instructora de la LDA; es a través de Floriach que entran en el mundo de la competición en el I BarnaLineDance en Sant Just Desvern. Con motivo de este acontecimiento, Chatti coreografia su “Think Of Me” para el Team de Eva Floriach, los Line O’clock.

Al mismo tiempo que cerraba el Sport Centre (Terrassa/Sabadell) habría sus puertas a principios del 2004, “La Cantonada” (Castellar del Valles) lugar donde baila habitualmente hoy en día, en este local conoce a otra instructora de la LDA, Angels Riba que le anima a presentar otra coreografía para el II BLD, gracias a la buena acogida que tuvieron dichos bailes en “La Cantonada”, empieza a coreografiar con música de su grupo favorito “The Mavericks”.

Al final del 2004 Chatti contaba con 15 bailes, 10 de ellos con música de Mavericks, habia presentado en el I TarragonaLineDance su baile “Sylvias Mother” y para el III Campeonato de España el “Lonely Waltz”, donde además, monta un Show con un WorkShop en la pista central del evento con su baile “I Believe” Fue durante ese año cuando nace “Chatti the Valley” el personaje de Amarillo (Texas), como lo bautizo su buen amigo Mikel Fermin.

Durante el 2005 su inquietud por saber más tanto de baile como de coreografías le lleva a contactar con personajes del extranjero, Jan Wyllie en Australia, Martín Ritchie en Inglaterra o Tonnie de Wit en Holanda, sus bailes son traducidos al Ingles y se pueden encontrar en las principales Webs de todo el mundo, Kickit (USA) Linedancermagazine (UK), Steepshett in Motinon (Singapur) o SCDF (Holanda).

Realiza el curso de Monitor de la LDA para mejorar sus conocimientos y compite durante ese año en la categoría de Newcomer, consiguiendo un segundo puesto en el IV Dance Duel realizado en Calella, para finales del 2005 en el Campeonato de España consigue en tercer puesto. Al finalizar dicho año, Chatti ya se ha convertido en el coreógrafo español más productivo, con 33 bailes, cifra que durante el 2006 seguro que se incrementara.

During 2005 his restlessness for knowing more about dance and about choreographies, it leads him to contacting with other abroad choreographers as, Jan Wyllie in Australia, Martin Ritchie in England or Tonnie de Wit in Holland, his dances are translated to english and can be found in the principal Webs of the whole world, Kickit (USA) Linedancermagazine (UK), Steepshett in Motinon (Singapore) or SCDF (Holland). He did the course of 1st Level Instructor of the LDA to improve his knowledge and competes during this year in the Newcomer's category, obtaining second position in the IV Dances Duel at Calella, at the end of 2005 in the Spanish Championships he obtains the third placement. On having finished the above mentioned year, Chatti already has turned into the most productive Spanish choreographer, with 33 dances, number that during 2006 sure that will be increased

Xavier Badiella est né dans Terrassa l'année 1960, il n'entre pas au monde de la danse jusqu'à 2002, de la main de sa femme Montserrat Balasch. Pendant plus qu'un an, il danse avec ses amis dans le Centre Sportif (Terrassa/Sabadell), où il commence à écrire son fichier propre de chorégraphies, avec ce qu'il comprend l´importance d'avoir une bonne préparation pour apprendre mieux n'importe quel aspect de la danse.Cet aspect se déplace à la famille Badiella/Balasch pour chercher où être capable d'être formé mieux. Il est dans le Centre Sportif où Chatti commence à écrire ses premières chorégraphies, le "Pingeon lCow-boy" et "On the Mountains", écrit particulièrement pour un Show de Noël de 2003. En 2004 ils commencent par plusieurs amis, un atelier dans Terrassa avec Eva Floriach, instructeur du LDA; c'est par Floriach qu'il entre au monde de la compétition dans le 1er Barna Line Dance in Sant Just Desvern(Barcelona) À l'occasion de cet événement, Chatti choregraphes son "Think of me" pour l'Équipe d'Eva Floriach, "Line O´Clock".

En même temps comme le Centre Sportif (Terrassa/Sabadell) fermait les portes au début de 2004, il a commencé "au Cantonada" (Castellar del Vallés) la place où il danse d'habitude aujourd'hui, là il connaît une autre Instructeur LDA, lAnges Riba qui l'encouragent à présenter une autre chorégraphie pour l'II Barna Line Dance, des remerciements à la bonne acceptation que les danses mentionnées ci-dessus avaient dans "le Cantonada", il commence a choregraphier avec la musique de son groupe préféré "Mavericks". À la fin de 2004 Chatti avait choregraphié 15 danses, 10 d'entre eux à la musique des Mavericks, il avait présenté dans le 1er Tarragona Line Dance sa danse "Sylvias Mother" et pour l'III Championnat de l'Espagne "Lonely Waltz", où il fait une Show avec un Atelier dans la piste de danse centrale de l'événement avec sa danse "I Believe" Il était pendant cette année où c'est né "Chatti the Valley", le personnage d'Amarillo (Texas), comme il a été baptisé par son bon ami Mikel Fermin.

Pendant 2005 son agitation pour savoir plus de la danse et de chorégraphies, il le mène au contact avec d'autre choregraphes à l'étranger comme, Jan Wyllie en Australie, Martin Ritchie en Angleterre ou Tonnie de Wit en Hollande, ses danses sont traduit à l'anglais et peut être trouvé dans les webs principaux du monde entier, Kickit (les Etats-Unis) Linedancermagazine (le ROYAUME-UNI), Steepshett dans Motinon (Singapour) ou SCDF (la Hollande). Il a fait le cours de Instructeur de 1er Niveau du LDA pour améliorer sa connaissance et il est un concourant pendant cette année dans la catégorie du Newcomer, obtenant la deuxième position dans l'IV Dance Duel à Calella, à la fin de 2005 dans les Championnats espagnols il obtient le troisième placement. Sur avoir fini l'année mentionnée ci-dessus, Chatti s'est déjà métamorphosé en chorégraphe espagnol le plus productif, avec 33 danses, nombre que pendant 2006 sûr qui sera augmenté
